Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

We are a well-established firm of solicitors based in Bamber Bridge is seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to join our friendly team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week).

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional office environment and can confidently manage a broad range of administrative responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.

 

The role

You will play a key part in supporting our solicitors and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

 

Key responsibilities

  • General office administration and filing (paper and electronic)

  • Answering and directing telephone calls

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and emails

  • Providing administrative support to solicitors and fee earners

  • Maintaining client records and documentation

  • Liaising with clients in a professional and courteous manner

 

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous administrative or office experience (legal experience desirable but not essential)

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • A professional, discreet and proactive approach

 

Hours & salary

  • Hours: 30 hours per week (days and working pattern to be agreed)

  • Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

  • Salary: Market-aligned and dependent on experience, skills and performance
